ტვინის უბანი, რომელიც ლატერალური ნაპრალის ქვემოთაა მოთავსებული. საფეთქლის წილის გარე ზედაპირი ასოციაციური არეა, რომელსაც საფეთქლის ზედა, შუათანა და ქვედა ხვეულები ქმნიან. ლატერალური ნაპრალის საზღვართან საფეთქლის ორი განივი ხვეული ტვინის პირველად აუდიალურ ზონას ქმნის. სმენის შეგრძნება აქ ტონოტოპიურად არის წარმოდგენილი ანუ სხვადასხვა სიხშირეები სხვადასხვა ნაწილში აისახება. განივ ხვეულზე ნაკლებად დახვეწილი მეორადი აუდიალური ზონაა გარს შემორტყმული. მედიალური ანუ შიდა შვერილი საფეთქლის წილის ვენტრალური ზედაპირის სიახლოვეს, რომელსაც უნკუსს (კაუჭისებს  წანაზარდს) უწოდებენ, ყნოსვის პირველი ზონის უდიდეს ნაწილს ქმნის.
