მიწასა და ნაციონალური მეურნეობის მნიშვნელოვანი ნაწილის (მრეწველობა, ბანკები, ტრანსპორტი, კავშირგბმულობა და სხვ.) კერძო სკუთრებიდან სახელმწიფო მფლობელობაში გადაცემის პოლიტიკა და პრაქტიკა. XX ს-ში ბევრ ქვეყანაში ნ. სხვადასხვაგვარად და ფართოდ გამოიყენებოდა. ოქტომბრის რევოლუციის შემდგომ პერიოდში მან მოიცვა ყოფილი სსრკ-ის, ხოლო 1945-50 წ ლებში რიგი სოციალისტური ქვეყნების მიწისა და სახალხო მეურნეობის თითქმის მთლიანი მოცულობა. ნ-ის მოთხოვნა ამა თუ იმ ფორმით ფიგურირებდა არასოციალისტური ქვეყნების მთელი რიგი პარტიების (უპირველეს ყოვლისა, სოციალისტური და კომუნისტური ორიენტაციის) საპროგრამო დოკუმენტებში აქტიურად ხორციელდებოდა სოციალისტური მთავრობების (დიდ ბრიტანეთში ლეიბორისტების, საფრანგეთში სოციალისტების და სხვ.) მიერ. პრაქტიკამ აჩვენა, რომ ნ. ყოველთვის და ყველგნ სასურველ შედეგს როდი იძლეოდა, ამიტომაც მას ხშირად პირუკუ - დენაციონალიზაციის პროცესი მოჰყვებოდა ხოლმე.
